A free update SPIRIT2009.05 is now available for download from the STI web site. If you have a live internet connection, you can use the Online-Update option in Spirit to automatically update your current version (Tools, Program Preferences..., Online-Update, Start Online-Update).

If you do not have direct access to the internet from within SPIRIT, you can download the update via the following link:

Fixes in version 2009.05

1)A crash when a closed drawing was still visible in the 3D Window has been fixed.

2)When replacing symbols, Open dialog would default to B12 file type (now SM6 & B12).

3)The cause for the message "an unspecified Error has occurred" has been fixed.

4)The button, "Absolute Wall Base" is once again available.

5)A crash notification when invoking the 3D Window has been fixed.

6)A crash when importing some DWG/DXF files has been fixed.

7)A problem where changing Level heights would change Window/Door heights has been fixed

8)Text in the info bar "OBJECT DATA = (Attribute type :" no longer appears.

9)A crash when deleting a Reference has been fixed.

10)Relocation of dimension text with the right mouse button works again

11)Layout components would not work with levels of detail when inserted via the right click context menu

12)Measures menu, Take Offs, Begin would return a message "Symbol error at position" - fixed

13)Textures can once again be rotated (Local Auto Axis and Auto Axis)

14)Fixed window widths would change by changing the jambs or the opening width - fixed

15)Info captured in the info bar is no longer overwritten

16)Drawing styles for architectural dimensions could not be replaced - fixed

17)Simultaneously opening drawings would not list drawing names in Window pull-down menu - fixed

18)Incorrect representation of half cylinders in FrescoII has been fixed.

19)Replacing symbols via context right click is now working.

20)Only 4 line types were listed when editing symbols - fixed

21)Faulty references prevented a drawing from being opened - fixed

22)Display list acceleration - the checking of components is now only conducted when components have been modified.

23)Format painter transfers values again in all Walls.
