The drawing background color is now stored within each drawing and no longer as a global setting. This means that the current background color set for the default drawing you use will determine the background color for all new drawings you create. However the background color can easily be changed:

• Select the Tools pulldown menu and select Program Preferences...
• Select the View category from the left tree.
• Pick the color rectangle in the Screen Background color option.
• Select from a standard Windows color, or select Define Custom Colors>> and define a custom color.
• Select OK to exit the Color picker and OK to exit the Settings dialog.
