SPIRIT 14 | |  | This is new: ZAC, SPIRIT's architecturial construction system, is completely rewritten. ZAC components as walls, door and windows are fully parametric and contain all data: the graphics in 2D and 3D, the material and texture description, spec text, cost and more. The creation of such components differs from other CAD systems, because everything is defined in SPIRIT's standard drafting mode, exactly the way Architects think and work. ZAC provides the correct repesentation for different scales just by pressing a button, and the system displays the components view dependent.
The data flow is continuous from the design phase (SketchUp data) to the integrated highend rendering (FRESCO with Lightworks). The ZAC system uses a modern tree browser; all components can be accessed via drag and drop mode. With version 14 SPIRIT offers more output functionality with the new PDF hyperlink function. | | | |
